SWNHS decided to expand its intervention focus areas since the needs of the environment protection is increasing year after year. The new intervention areas which SWNHS is focusing on include:-
- Holding of workshops and training for the local communities.
- Organizing and conducting trainings, workshops and seminars, with aim of developing and strengthening the capacity of the local institutions and communities to build their capacity in environmental protection.
- Restoration of immigrated wildlife from neighbour countries by creating protected areas in the country.
- Conducting of intensive research and surveys in the country in order to get accurate information regarding biodiversity situation in the Somalia.
